Warrior macros for WoW Forever
Arms · Fury · Protection
7 macros that make the Warrior easier to play, each with what it does. To use one, copy it, type /macro in the game's chat, click New, pick the question mark icon and a name, paste the text and drag the icon to your action bar. A macro holds up to 255 characters.
Spell names are the ones the English game client uses. Playing in German, French or Spanish? Switch this site to your client's language and the macros follow.
Reading the macros
#showtooltip- Shows the spell's icon, cooldown and tooltip on your action bar, as long as the macro has the question mark icon.
[@mouseover]- The unit under your mouse pointer, on the party or raid frames or in the world. The macro falls back to your target when there is none.
!- A "!" before a spell keeps a second press from switching it off.
/stopcasting- Cancels the spell you are casting, so the next line goes off at once.
Charge or Intercept
One button to reach your target. Out of combat it uses Charge, which needs Battle Stance; in combat it uses Intercept, which needs Berserker Stance. When you are in the wrong stance, the first press switches stance and the second one charges.
#showtooltip /cast [nocombat,stance:1] Charge; [nocombat] Battle Stance; [stance:3] Intercept; Berserker StanceOverpower from any stance
Overpower only works in Battle Stance. From another stance the first press switches to Battle Stance and the second one strikes. Forever lets every warrior keep up to 10 rage through a stance change, so the swap costs little.
#showtooltip Overpower /cast [stance:1] Overpower; Battle StanceInterrupt in any stance
Pummel in Berserker Stance, Shield Bash in Battle or Defensive Stance, so the same key interrupts a caster whatever stance you are in. Shield Bash needs a shield equipped.
#showtooltip /cast [stance:3] Pummel; Shield BashBerserker Rage from any stance
Berserker Rage makes you immune to fear and incapacitate effects, but only works in Berserker Stance. From another stance the first press switches stance and the second one uses it.
#showtooltip Berserker Rage /cast [stance:3] Berserker Rage; Berserker StanceTaunt on mouseover
Taunts the enemy under your mouse, or your target when there is none, so you can pull a loose mob back without dropping what you are tanking. Outside Defensive Stance the first press switches you into it.
#showtooltip Taunt /cast [stance:2,@mouseover,harm,nodead][stance:2] Taunt; Defensive StanceShield Wall from any stance
An emergency button: Shield Wall cuts the damage you take by 60% for 12 seconds. It needs Defensive Stance, so from another stance press twice.
#showtooltip Shield Wall /cast [stance:2] Shield Wall; Defensive StanceDeath Wish with trinkets
Uses Death Wish and both trinkets in one press, so your damage cooldowns line up. Slot 13 is your top trinket and 14 the bottom one; a trinket with no use effect is simply skipped.
#showtooltip Death Wish /cast Death Wish /use 13 /use 14
