Forever's own loot, dungeon locations and a better talent calculator
Dungeon loot and level ranges now follow Forever, every instance says where its entrance is, and talent trees count their points and show what is open.
Until now the Classic dungeons on the Codex showed Classic's loot and Classic's level ranges. From today they follow Forever. Every dungeon and raid page also tells you where its entrance is and lets you copy a map pin into the game, the Quests tab gives you one level to aim for, and the talent calculator shows at a glance where you can still spend a point.
Loot and level ranges from Forever
Dungeon loot now follows Forever instead of Classic. Items Forever removed are gone from the tables, and the ones it kept show their Forever stats.
The level ranges moved as well. Ragefire Chasm, which the Codex listed at 13 to 18, is now 15 to 25. The Deadmines went from 17 to 26 to 15 to 25, and Dire Maul, listed at 55 to 60 before, is 44 to 54 in Forever.
Where the entrance is, with a map pin to paste
Every dungeon and raid page now has a Location line that says where the entrance is, with map coordinates where they are known. For Ragefire Chasm it reads "Orgrimmar, in the Cleft of Shadow beside Neeru Fireblade's tent (53, 49)". For Hall of Thanes, one of Forever's new dungeons, it gives you the route: from the Ironforge throne room, take the web-covered passage on the left down to a bridge over lava, which leads to the entrance. Where an entrance is not published yet, as with Hyjal Summit, the page says so instead of guessing.
Two buttons sit under the location. In-game map pin copies a line to paste into chat in the game, which gives you a clickable map pin to the entrance. The /way button copies a waypoint command for TomTom or any other waypoint addon.
One level for every quest in a dungeon
The Quests tab now opens with the level you need to pick up every quest in that dungeon, so you know when you can do them all in one trip. For Ragefire Chasm that is level 9.
Pre-quests, the ones you have to finish before a dungeon quest is offered, now each link to their quest on Wowhead, as the main quests already did.

Talent trees that count their points
Each talent tree now shows how many of its 51 points you have spent, with a Reset button that clears that tree alone. Talents are outlined in green when you can take a point, gold when they are maxed and grey when they are locked, and the rank counter sits in its own badge on the corner.

What Forever changed, class by class
Every class page now lists the abilities Forever added and the spells it reworked, with the Classic text next to the new one, so you can see what changed without comparing tooltips yourself. That list has since become each class's Changes in Forever page, such as the one for the Mage.
Dungeon cards in the levelling journey
The levelling journey, called the Companion since 25 September, now shows each dungeon in your level range as a card with its artwork, its level range and how many bosses it has. A dungeon that has just opened up to you is marked, and once you have ticked off all its quests on its Quests tab, the card says so.
Raids count down to December 9
Forever launches on November 4, 2026, and its raids open five weeks later, on December 9. The raid pages now count down to that day.
Also fixed
- A quest that is only a step towards another quest in the same dungeon no longer shows up twice, once on its own and once as a pre-quest.
