Mage: best in slot at level 20
Arcane · Fire · Frost
The best gear a level 20 Mage can wear in Forever, for every spec, with two alternatives for each slot and where every piece comes from.
How the lists are made: only gear a Mage can wear at level 20, and only pieces we know a source for or that have turned up in the game. Each piece is scored by the spec's stat priority. The lists are built from the game's own data, so they change as the beta does.
Arcane
Stat priority: Hit > Spell power > Intellect > Critical strike > Spirit
Use a two-hander, or a main hand and an off hand: whichever adds up to more for you.
