Mage macros for WoW Forever

8 macros that make the Mage easier to play, each with what it does. To use one, copy it, type /macro in the game's chat, click New, pick the question mark icon and a name, paste the text and drag the icon to your action bar. A macro holds up to 255 characters.
Spell names are the ones the English game client uses. Playing in German, French or Spanish? Switch this site to your client's language and the macros follow.
Reading the macros
#showtooltip- Shows the spell's icon, cooldown and tooltip on your action bar, as long as the macro has the question mark icon.
[@mouseover]- The unit under your mouse pointer, on the party or raid frames or in the world. The macro falls back to your target when there is none.
!- A "!" before a spell keeps a second press from switching it off.
/stopcasting- Cancels the spell you are casting, so the next line goes off at once.
Counterspell, even mid-cast
Stops the spell you are casting and counters at once, on the enemy under your mouse or your target when there is none. Without the /stopcasting line you would have to wait for your own cast to end.

Polymorphs the enemy under your mouse, or your target when there is none. Keep your kill target and re-sheep a breaking target by pointing at it.

An instant Pyroblast: Presence of Mind and the big spell in one press. While Presence of Mind is on cooldown it starts a normal Pyroblast. Change the last line to Frostbolt or Fireball to suit your spec.

Uses Arcane Power and both trinkets in one press, so your cooldowns line up. Slot 13 is your top trinket and 14 the bottom one; a trinket with no use effect is simply skipped.

Press to enter Ice Block, even in the middle of a cast. Press again to leave it early once the danger has passed.

Blinks at once, cancelling the spell you are casting instead of making you wait for it. Blink also frees you from stuns and roots.

Removes a curse from the player under your mouse, else your friendly target, else you. In Forever it also removes banes. Great with raid frames: no target switching while you decurse.

Buffs the player under your mouse, else your friendly target, else you. Point at each name on the raid frames to hand out Intellect without clicking anyone.
